Sometimes close is good enough. Other times, not. As Frank Robinison said to reporters: “Close doesn’t count in baseball. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades!”

What do you do with your mistakes? Cover them up? Deny them? Walk away? If you make a wrong turn, you can fix it in a block or two. Would that all mistakes were so short lived!

In California, “power politics” characterizes the struggle over electric power. In international relations, the term describes an attempt by one country to protect it’s own interest through threats of military, economic, or military aggression.

Says Who?
If “Says who?” is your reaction to the “Question Authority!” bumper sticker, you’re doing what they command. The question in our world is “who is (or has) ‘authority’?” Historical notions of “authority” seem particularly irrelevant among bloggers, YouTube, and “singularity”.
